|Smoke -N- Sear™ to be Featured on Nemechek’s No. 87 Camry at Talladega|
NEMCO Motorsports today announced England’s Stove Works, Inc.’s new Smoke -N- Sear™ product line will take the primary sponsorship role on Joe Nemechek’s No. 87 Toyota Camry for this Saturday’s Aaron’s 312 NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Talladega Superspeedway.
The company formally introduced its newest product line, ‘Smoke -N- Sear’ ™ in March of this year in order to highlight its latest product offerings, which include a pellet grill/smoker, as well as accessories such as cooking pellets, a branded grill cover, and rub and sauce products.
“Last year, we introduced our pellet grill, which was the result of several years of R&D,” said Carroll Hudson, President and CEO of England’s Stove Works. “Ron England (the company’s co-founder and current Chairman of the Board) introduced the grill idea for our company, and as it developed, things like rubs and sauces naturally followed. To promote it through our NASCAR partnership with Joe Nemechek is also a natural.”
The grill, which is based on a patented design, actually has a direct cooking area on one side (over a cast grate) and an indirect cooking area on the other side (over nickel plated grates). This makes the product a grill and a smoker, and even leaves room near the top for convection-heated warming racks. It is also one-of-a-kind in that it has been safety tested to UL 2728.
“We’re in our fifth year of carrying the products of England’s Stove Works and what better race than Talladega to get the word out about their Smoke -N- Sear™ product line,” Nemechek explained. “Talladega is well-known for its very passionate group of campers and with the push of one button; they can be grilling, smoking or both. This is a perfect fit for the NASCAR fan and will give campers and tailgaters the freedom to get on with their other festivities.”
With 19 NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at the 2.66-mile oval, Nemechek boasts two wins, five poles, seven top-five and eight top-10 finishes. With a strong showing at the season’s first restrictor plate race in Daytona, Nemechek looks for a solid run and finish in his Smoke -N- Sear™ Camry.
England’s Stove Works, Inc. (ESW), based in Monroe, VA, is a family-owned business that was started by Bob and Ron England more than 35 years ago. Ron England is the current Chairman of the Board. ESW manufactures pellet, multi-fuel and wood heating stoves – and now pellet grills - and sells its product nationwide.
